The Desert Hills is managing a neighboring duplex property “The Taucher House”. This unassuming little bungalow is across the street from the hotel and shares a private swimming pool with the owners and a huge enclosed yard with a spectacular view of the mountains. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen, it is perfect for a family get together or a romantic interlude.
The Taucher House features the same Kashwere linens and robes and many of the décor touches of the Desert Hills Hotel. The property is very private and quiet; the owners are rarely present. It is rented on a weekly basis.
Rates (7 night minimum):
$350 per night December 16-May 31
$240 per night June 1- August 31
$265 per night September 1-December 15
$150 non-refundable cleaning fee
Note: The Taucher House is not an extension of the Desert Hills Hotel and there are no shared facilities or services. The hotel provides reservation, check in and check out services for guests of the property.
